This is the official site of BBIMBY or Brooklyn Bridge In My Back Yard.

After a career in the steel and wire rope industry I developed not only a passion for all things wire rope and suspension bridge related, but also an intense admiration for the Roebling family and the Brooklyn Bridge. Having the land available and inviting others into my passion, I now commence upon the Brooklyn Bridge In My Back Yard.

Brooklyn caisson launched from Greenpoint shipyard (5 miles North) - 19 March 1870
